High School Career: Spivey was an All-District and District Offensive Player of the Year in 2005 as she led the Lady Panthers to a Class 5A Region I bi-district championship. She also played for Texas Travelers and Tomboys softball clubs and played on national championship club team. Spivey was a member of the National Honor Society and was a Texas Scholar.
College: She signed with Sam Houston State and recently completed her junior year. Spivey was named to the Southland Conference all-academic first team. She carries a 3.86 grade point average in biology and is a nominee for the SLC National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. A part-time starter for her first three years, Spivey has driven in 16 runs in her career. She hit .280 this season, starting 36 of 56 games.
