Dear Editor:

Nearly every week we read of numerous car burglaries at the various restaurants on Texas 121, north of Glade Road. It is absolutely unsafe to park your car and eat in that area, even in the daytime, because of these repeated break-ins.

Why can’t the Colleyville police dedicate some manpower (stakeouts) to curtail this crime spree? It seems they spend more time waiting in speed traps than they do in apprehending criminals who repeatedly burglarize this area?
