Enter Our Pumpkin Decorating Contest; Win Movie Tickets, Pizza Party

Show off your creative — or spooky — side in Alliance Regional Newspaper’s first Pumpkin Decorating Contest and you could win prizes!

Pumpkins may be carved, painted or otherwise bedazzled. They can be spooky, funny or downright cute. You may use a pattern or go without.

There are two categories: one for individuals and one for groups (including class projects).

Submit a high resolution photograph of your finished product and team. Our team of judges will decide on the winning pumpkins.

So what’s in it for you?

Beside fun, camaraderie and bragging rights, the winner of the individual category will receive movie passes, and snack passes to a local theater. The winner of the group project will win a pizza party. Teachers in the Grapevine-Colleyville and Carroll school districts are encouraged to submit class pumpkins.

Deadline for submissions is 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24. We’ll announce the winners in the Oct. 31 edition of the paper.

One entry per group or individual.
